What does Wonder mean to you?

It's officially the first week of our new newsletter format, 🔴RED CIRCLE TALK.

The first week, sharing a TED TALK that sparks curiosity and excitement for me.

 Let's get it!🎉

Magician David Kwong delivered a great talk about Magic and Wonder in the Age of AI.✨

He also used CHAT GPT to perform some magic tricks, which was pretty dope.

However, my most profound takeaways were not from the entertaining middle of his presentation, where he engaged an audience member and created one of the most unique TED experiences ever…

The takeaways for me were on the book ends of his talk.

 And they were good!

🔴Wonder is when we see it, making us question what is possible.

🔴Wonder is the gap between - shouldn’t be and is.

🔴Has too much technology robbed us of wonder, or have technological advances increased our opportunities for wonder?

🔴When we approach the world with wonder, it's not the answers that we find that ultimately give our lives meaning. The meaning is in our asking of the questions.

It's fitting that the first talk we sunk our teeth into was related to WONDER.

The theme of my first-ever TEDx Talk was AWE and WONDER, so I'm getting goosebumps as I type this email.

So what do you think? Has tech stolen the wonder or enhanced it?
